Nina Hons presents mixed media artworks that blend the skills of creativity, artistic interpretation, tapestry, painting, sculpturing with linen and cloth materials, and then crafting them together on a canvas.

TREES are the most popular of Nina's mixed-media works. Woven tapestry representations of a tree are sewn onto a painted canvas background with natural thread stitching. The canvas background is completed using a medium of acrylic colors.

ANGELS are another of Nina's most popular mixed media works. Nina has the ability to paint the face of an angel in representation of the face of a child or other person from a submitted photograph. Angels are often a mixture of linen material, acrylic colors, and/ or woven sisal. 

ZODIAC SIGNS are a mixed-media representation that Nina Hons usually does by special order. Acrylic colors are often blended with small metal shapes and different materials to complete the astrological representations.
